Kuiu Pro 4500 Day Pack

With the Kuiu sale on the 4500 Pro Divide, my question is about using the 4500 as a day pack. I have one of the larger LT packs and was thinking about getting something smaller for a day pack. I like the organization options for a day pack better than the bigger LT. So I was just curious on everyone's thoughts on that.

I have exclusively used it as a day pack thus far. My favorite part of the pack is the divide pocket. It keeps my optic and rifle chassis protected from the rocky desert. The other pockets I use for extra gloves, beanie, hat, socks, etc. The lid can be removed to make it a 4000 cu in pack if using for day use.

I just got one too. I used it for the first time this weekend on a Cub Scout campout. So far I like it. Only gripe is that the water bottle
pouch doesn’t seem deep enough. I lost one of my water bottles even though I clinched it down.
