Kuiu Peleton 240 Hoody sizing help

6'2" here and around 230 (and dropping lol) XL here . Have the peloton 200 in XL too and wouldnt risk (ie fit) anything smaller .
Kenai jacket in xl too though it fits a little snug . Not tight or restrictive but fits close if that makes any sense .

I bought 4 pelotons when they were cheap on sale this last winter (2 lighter pull overs and 2 full zip 240's), I go back and forth from L to XL with some FL and Sitka stuff but I could not get a piece of KUIU large enough to fit me even in XXL (or XL zip off LU) but these Pelotons seem to fit as expected, XL in the lighter and XXL in the full zip are just a tad large but better that than too tight IME - (for the record, I will not buy KUIU retail for any reason)
I prefer merino for everything but I've tired of the washing care needed so I thought the Peloton would be a good try, I think it is (still like next to the skin and socks to be 100% merino though)
I'm 5'10"(now) and 210 - 36" waist

Thanks. Do the 200 and 240 fit about the same in the same size, or is the 240 full zip cut a little bigger?

I'm 6 feet and 190 lbs, more muscle than fat, meaning built shoulders and chest. I have the 240 full zip hoody in a large. The sizing is a mixed bag on me. For me the torso length and sleeve length are spot on, which for me means plenty long to allow for movement without it riding up and exposing too much. However, the fit is too tight around the chest, shoulders, and armpits, to the point that it feels a little restrictive. Just not very comfortable. I like athletic fitting clothes but this is too much. The only thing that will fit under it is a close fitting base layer, so it ends up being less versatile than I hoped it would be. The reason I kept it is I was worried that the XL would be too long in the torso and sleeves.

Well, that pretty much makes up my mind.....XL it is. I'm built the same, with my shoulders and chest dictating the size of my upper layers, especially in Kuiu, The L Guide jacket was constricting in my armpits exactly like you're describing, so I'm guessing the 240 Peloton would be the same. Hopefully the XL isn't super long in torso and sleeves.

I'll follow up after purchasing to close the loop!

Sorry I didn't close the loop on this sooner.

Bottom line, hate the XL and DEFINITELY should have got the Large. Too expensive to return, so not sure what I'll do with it now. I prefer an athletic fit and will take slightly too snug over baggy.

As for the fit, it has room for a significant pot belly and is way too long, almost hanging below crotch level. That being said, any smaller would likely be tight in the arm pits, sleeves would be too short, and the hood would likely be stretched way out when fully closed.

I really like the material weight and intended functionality, but I would never recommend it based on the terrible fit alone.

My .02.
