Can’t find much info at all on the Encounter LT pants.

Anyone have any first hand experience with them?

I had a bad experience with them @hickswr … they are two layers with an extraordinarily fragile outer covering not bonded to the inner structure/insulation. I sat in a treestand for less than five minutes, and the fabric snagged immediately causing a quarter size rip in the outer layer. Any vegetation in my AZ hunting environment would absolutely shred it.

Now they may have revised it since then as it was a year or two ago that they were purchased, but I returned them quick and Kuiu replaced them. For my use case, they just didn’t work.

Good question and I may need to be educated there. I was told by customer service the construction was similar to the standard although the LT version had more of a backing material versus insulation. No hands on experience with both. To clarify, my experience was on the standard end.

Got them yesterday and am impressed. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for in a bowhunting pant. Material is a single layer of almost like a suede which I have wanted in a hunting pant for a long time. Almost reminds me of the old scent lok suit I had. Pockets are great. I thought the thigh pockets were two seperate pockets but it's like a pocket with a gusset in it for expansion. Color for me is okay but it was discounted so I can't complain. Not sure how durable they are going to be but the material is slippery so I'm guessing most things will slide off. Minor sheen to them. At the discounted rate, I couldn't ask for a much better deer hunting pant. Temps wise I would think anything warm down to the 40s with a good baselayer. No insulation or fleece on the inside just the normal pant material.
