Kuiu insulated snap shirt review

I picked one of these up a while ago and have been wearing the heck out of it. I hadn't really considered one for hunting when I first saw it, but I thought a solid colored one would be great for work layered with the black peloton 240 hoody I wear. It works well under the 240 when it's cold enough I won't be taking it off and on, or over it when I will be adding and removing that layer. Wearing those two layers over a T shirt and putting a vest over the top has been enough most days unless I'll be fairly inactive in a lot of wind. It seems to keep me warm enough without making me get to hot. I think I will wear it a lot hunting in the future. I'll still have the puffy in the pack but the puffy is to hot to wear moving.

My camo Peloton 240 hoody with the snap shirt and my Sitka mountain vest are one of my favorite cold weather layering systems I've tried. They all fit under my puffy and/or rain shell when I need more. It makes more sense to me to go this route than have a softshell for hunts where weight is an issue.

I like mine, doesn't seem to hold heat real well when sitting but it's breathable and comfortable to wear when on the move
