Kuiu guide pro series jacket

Has anyone acquired the new Kuiu guide pro series jacket yet? I’m looking for an archery hunting jacket and I was actually just about to buy the encounter jacket since I thought the guide DCS jacket was too loud for archery, so I was going to settle for the encounter jacket.

Anyone who owns it could you give me some insight about the quietness of the fabric compared to the DCS or the encounter? Any likes/dislikes?

Checked it out at the expo yesterday. It’s a lot softer and simpler design than the guide dcs, probably quieter but that’s hard to to tell in a loud room.

It looks cool but don’t understand why the DCS is still offered.

I was looking at a DCS in the classifieds and got this response from a rep about this:

The Guide Pro is going to be lighter, more flexible in stretch and a bit more durable. The Guide Pro series is designed for mountain hunting, The DCS series is quieter and a bit more breathable making it more versatile for other styles of hunting.
