Wondering how KUIU sizing is. I had a hard time in the sizing dept. with Sitka as some jackets I could wear as a Medium, and some had to be a Large. I am 5'9 and 145, athletic build. Wondering if the 32 guide pant and Medium jacket would be ok for my size? I plan to layer under each during the late season. Also, is the KUIU guide series made of quiet material? I mostly do spot and stalk archery....Thanks for any help or suggestions!!

I think those would be about right. I'm 6'1" 175 and have been happy with 34" pants (attacks) and a large for the guide jacket.

Thanks.. How noisy is the guide material? Does it make that "swishy" sound or is it pretty quiet?

Can't help on the pants, but in the Guide jacket, as well as the superdown jackets and vest, I had to go up a size. I'm usually a 2xl, but in Kuiu, I have to get the 3xl for the same fit.

I'm thinking a medium will fit perfect, I am wearing the 34 s at 5'7" 160... The guide gear is pretty quite with no real swish

I'm 5'8 170lbs. I have the large jacket and 34" pants.. I wish I had sized down. It's not intolerable, it's just a bit bulky.

6ft 180 and the 34s are perfect. my wife has a large and medium guide jackets. i can fit a puffy under the large about perfect, and the medium is perfect if just wearing merino baselayers under it if you want an athletic fit. and the sleeves fit me better on the medium - i draw 28in with a recurvce

5'9 170 lbs Medium guide jacket. Fits like a glove. I will find out tomorrow how a puffy fits under it.

Thanks for all the input everyone! Nuke man please let me know how the puffy works underneath as that is what I am planning myself.

My experience: if you have problems with Sitka sizing, you are gonna REALLY have problems with KUIU sizes. (I had jackets from XL, XXL to XXXL in KUIU).

With that said, if you want to layer a puffy under the Guide, you'll probably need a large.

I thought that Kuiu gear fit me very well. I am 5'10, 175lbs and athletic build. I bought 34 attack pants and they are perfect. I also have a large guide jacket and like that fit as well. I typically wear a 32 waist in jeans and a large size shirt. Good luck!

I also got 34 waist attack pants. Fit loose around the waist. I wear a 33 waist in Kuhl pants. They fit really nice, plenty of room in the legs. Going to have to have about 3 inches hemmed up though.
The large Kenai fits loose. Plenty of room in the arms, which most reviews state the arms are snug. One of the reasons I sized up. I plan on mostly putting it on over my guide during glassing. Should be perfect. I got the hoodless version.

I am 5'10" 160lbs. I wear size 30 jeans and the 30 guides fit well. They are not as nice a fit as the attack but still good. I wear a size large Sitka Jetstream but a medium Guide DCS.

I wear a size Medium in the guide jacket. I'm 5'7" and 160 athletic build. I am able to wear the guide vest and the Kuiu super down 1/4 zip t, both in medium, underneath.
