I am looking for feedback on the Guide Jacket and Peloton 240. I have the Merino Hoody and the Teton Soft Shell. Looking for an in-between for deer and duck hunting for some light snags and light precipitation. What are your thoughts and/or other recommendations?

Guide jacket will take snags better. Great all around jacket except when counting ounces. Its breathable so being still in a cool to cold breeze you will need layers. Check out the Sitka Jetstream if needing more of a wind block. They weigh the same but the Sitka feels lighter or softer more shirt like than the guide. Lots of info hear on the 240, it layers better blocks wind well but there is a reason kuiu list it as a base layer, it will snag doesn't have dwr.

Imo your teton soft shell will do what the 240 will do unless needing a hood then you can save money and buy a hat. The 240 won't repel water but won't hold it either (no dwr but 100% poly dries fast)

You answered the question already. You just might not know it yet. Get the newest Kuiu catalog. They list the Pro's of the different gear with much more detail than in the past. It makes it much more easy to pick what will work best for you. I've got the guide and 240. I'll leave a few thoughts.

The guide will repel water and keep you out of rain gear a little longer, while the 240 will be wet quick and needs rain gear as soon as it starts.
The guide is more much more durable, where the 240 is much lighter for when you don't need a jacket, but a crew T or 200 isn't quite enough (warmth).
The Teton soft shell is 16oz. The 240 full zip is 12.4. The guide is 24oz (some of this extra weight is hood). Kuiu lists the 240 as a mid layer, or early season dry weather outer layer. Where the Soft shell and Guide are obviously outer.
240 packs much lighter and tighter, but this isn't usually a problem on duck hunts.
240 is imo a fair weather morning jacket. Or a lightweight for packing in. Where the guide is a cold weather late season jacket.
Super down fits under the Guide jacket. 240 is too snug for this.

I'd keep your Teton soft shell, and add the Teton rain gear. Packs light and is durable enough for a duck hunt with light rain. I used my Teton rain layer on four duck hunts last year when we weren't expecting rain, but got wet. One of them was an extremely wet day. 5 hours of rain and I was still dry. My buddy was soaked. Or Get the guide.
