Is the guide jacket pretty wind, water proof? How loud is it? I have the Chinook and love it, but something a bit more all around would be good.

Hi - thanks for the questions.

I’ve had both the chinook and the guide

I noticed no difference in nouse

I bowhunt whitetails in WI and so am very picky about noise and I’ve had zero issues with that

As for wind and water—very resistant to both, but not technically water or wind PROOF, so you might find a little wind sneak through if it’s reallllly blowing and you’d get wet if you stood in a downpour for a while. But overall very weather resistant (I’ve had four Guide jackets if that tells you anything about how much I love them—this one is just an extra at this point).
