Kuiu Gila vs ultra merino for warmer weather

I’m looking to upgrade/add to my base layers. I have a peloton 97 and peloton 240. I’m looking for a layer for the warmer days (60 to 70 degrees) when I don’t need the 97 or 240. Something that’ll hold up to pack straps and light brush. I tend to run hot when moving.

I’m going to pick up some 120 ultra merino for sure for under the 97 and 240. Will the 120 hold up and not be too hot or should I look at the gila line? Suggestions on other shirts for that temp range?

With Kuiu, i like the Peloton 118 for a lightweight long sleeve shirt that dries incredibly fast. I wear those all summer to keep the sun off my arms/wrists.

When cooler i will go with the peloton 97...which is so comfortable.

I actually feel like the 120 breathes better than the Gila for warm weather. That said it's more fragile.
I disagree in 90 plus I always prefer synthetic and the gila. if I'm going extended for a week though the merino hybrid gets picked bc of its better long term odor control
