Kuiu fit?

How does the Kuiu clothing fit? I'm looking at getting a 145 zip t and a pair of attack pants.

In Sitka clothing I wear XXL tops and 40 waist pants. And they are very comfortable. I like Sitka gear real well just looking to try some Kuiu gear out.

I appreciate any help with sizing.

Too me they fit on the trim side but allow for pretty comfy movement. Depending on how you're built I'd error on the larger side if you're unsure. I'm 6'1" 175 in the base layers I have large, in the attack 34", which leave me a little room. I've been very happy with their products.

The pants and outer layers will fit fine except for a couple pieces, the base layers will be way tight.

I went with one size up. I have some FL stuff in medium but in kuiu it didn't fit right. Just too tight in the air out area. I went with large and now fits much better

Seems bottoms fit pretty true to size and tops run a little small. So if your borderline on your tops size up.

I would agree with Weekender, the bottoms seemsto run true to size but the tops are tight. Go up a size when you can. My normal, non-hunting shirts are XXL and I have plenty of room. My KUIU XXL shirts are snug, but I'm a bit biased since I hate tight fitting clothes.

It seems to vary by item though. I had a XXL Guide Jacket that fit very well with just a merino shirt underneath, however there was no room for other layers. I ended up going up to a 3XL in order to be able to add an insulation layer underneath. I have an XXL Chugach NX Rain Jacket and there is plenty of room for layers. Maybe the Guide Jacket isn't meant ofr layers under?

The Kuiu shoulders are pretty small. I wear a medium in most shirts but a large in Kuiu because the medium shoulders will hug my armpits. Even the large sizes are tight. I'm 6'1, 195#, 11.5% body fat. I hardly have "big" shoulders, but if I get much bigger, I don't think I'll be able to wear Kuiu shirts.

I wear the same sizes as you in Sitka. I ordered a couple Kuiu tops for Christmas. I ordered a Teton top in XXL and it's a size smaller than the Sitka I would say. Fits more like an XL. I ordered a Tiburon zip t in 3XL and its a great fit and super comfortable. I have since ordered a 3XL Sitka core top and prefer that over my 2XL core top as well. Can't speak for the Kuiu pants though.

My KUIU down vest is marked as an xl but it's a lg. At 5'10" and 235# I could barely zip it up. 35#'s later and it fits just fine. Now all my xl gear is too large

if youre getting the merino base layers i think they are true to size. im 6' 230 and normally wear xl t shirts and have multiple kuiu merino tops including the 145 half zip and all are xl. fit just like my t shirts. you can stretch them a little when you take them out of the wash too before you hang dry them. the kuiu synthetic base layers: peloton and teton fit smaller though i would size up if you got them

I wear a 38 in my jeans and just got the attack pants in a 40 and they fit perfect. Great fit and will have enough room to layer under. The peloton shirts in a 2xl have a tighter fit which I don't mind. The tributon shirts in a 3xl fit a bit more loose. I am very happy with it all. All my Sitka stuff is in 2xl. Hope that helps.

only have to add that the 210 zip off bottoms UW run every bit of 2 sizes small yet the 145's are a snug true to size and after sending the 210's back and then inquiring (in depth) with KUIU they "see no reason to alter sizing" ........ and, Kenai hooded jacket Large is really about a Med & 1/2
