I realize people mentioned this in the other thread, but it's such a big issue I figured it could stand to be said again.... No way no how did they field test this shirt, because all it takes is trying it on to realize the flaw.

I have skinny, lanky arms. I sized up to an XL when I typically fit into Larges just fine. While the shirt fits me perfect with arms extended, even MY string bean arms feel like they are going to flex and bust right out of the shirt. Having sleeves stretch in length serves absolutely zero purpose, the other way would create freedom of movement and the ability to roll up your sleeves. I LOVE the material, pants are my favorite pair of pants I own now.

Hope they aren't stubborn as a company and fix this glaring issue. This is WAY to expensive of a shirt to not even be able to roll up your sleeves lol.

I got the pants, but didn't try the shirt. Even in the pictures on the KUIU blog of Jason's new Zealand hunt it looked to me like he was wearing a Tiburon shirt and the sleeves looked pretty snug. I'm wondering if it would help to put a piece of stretch materials like what is on the guide jacket (non-dcs) or the super down jackets.

I've used my merino shirt in pretty warm temps and didn't have any complaints, so I'll just stick with that.

Glad to hear the pants are good because I ordered a pair that shipped yesterday. Sorry to hear about the shirt, that sucks.

I'm digging the pants. I always wait until a few reviews start showing up on Kuiu stuff. Their reputation is not there yet on knocking it out of the park first time every time. Their customer service is getting better. I ordered an outlet item and must've just missed it. The order got cancelled so I called. They were out of the outlet shirt I wanted so they upgraded me to a brand new 185 merino crew. Damn nice gesture and not expected. That goes a long way with a guy like me. I can see they have a bunch of growing pains going on over there, but I am routing for them. More so after that nice gesture.

I don't have the shirt. I bought the pants and so far so good. If you don't like the shirt send it back. I've had issues with a couple things and their CS is top shelf.

Ive been toying around with both. The shirt is going back to kuiu. I like the pants alot compared to any other option. Honestly I didnt feel the shirt was much different that my merino shirt and it was 100 today. Both breath well but the merino works woth my body even though it breaths or drys slightly slower. I was considering taking it to the tailor to add stretch or mesh to the seams but am just goin to return it. The ciffs and tail have zero give and the tail rides up on me. Again, i think its good material and i will kepp my pants and like those. The shirt is way too restrictive for any benefit it has.

Just spent 3 days in the Tiburon shirt shooting prairie dogs in SD. The weather was upper 80's+. I didn't wear the pants as I wanted to see how the Attack pants would hold up. I have experienced all the "binding" issues that others are concerned about both while shooting a bow and shooting a rifle. Frankly, I'm not happy with the binding issue either. If the Kryptek tops don't have the same problem and are as comfortable to wear in the heat as the Tiburon is, the Tiburon will go back. I'm waiting for the Krypteks to show up...... I will disagree with TXCO as I feel the Tiburon is way more comfortable to wear in the heat, but that is my opinion.

I got the Tiburon pants and love them. They are my new go to hot weather hunting pant. Breathe very well, really light and comfortable but feel durable at the same time. I took them scouting this weekend and beat through heavy brush and cut some trails. Went through a few briars and other nasty stuff without any problems of snaring. Pants came out of the wash looking good as new.

The Tiburon pants are nice, but IMO they would be better if the stretch went the other way (along the length of the leg versus the width). When I bend my knee so that my thigh is parallel to the ground, the material slides on my leg whereas the Attack pants do not due to the stretch.

I think material is good overall. I didnt see much dfference in the shirt over a light merino. The pants are lighter and better than any other pants Iver tried, thats why Im keeping them. But I wasnt noticiably cooler to justify the arm restrictions in 100 degree heat for the shirt

I understand your position and have a similar concern. Personally, the Tiburon material (excluding the binding issue) is cooler to me than the lighter weight merino shirts. What we both want is the fit of the merino and the hot weather comfort of the Tiburon... that would be the cat's pajamas.

Made in China is all you need to know. Cuts run smaller or shorter than they should while QC goes out the door.

I don't buy that at all. 90% of quality technical clothing regardless of brand is made over there already, and none of their other garments I've bought have had this issue.

I really don't understand the China phobia with clothing, but that's another issue all together.

Look what happened to Vasque...good to junk. The Danner's made in China blow compared to the USA line. Whether 90% of anything is made there doesn't matter, the cuts and hats usually run smaller. A perfect example is the torso length on shirts on products made in China run on the small side; especially, when you compare them to the sleeve length of let's say a XXL. Filson isn't what it used to be. To each their own but I sent my Kuiu back for the same reasons. Yeah it is hard finding Made in USA but that is my approach. You can't tell me Canadian made Kuiu is the same quality as the Chinese junk.

Sunspot, what made in America clothing are you wearing? Doesn't sound like you can buy from any of our clothing sponsors!

I would love to buy USA made gear but apart from buying from a place like wild things it would be hard to find hunting clothing. You can find tactical clothing but really isn't hunting specific.

Modified my Kuiu Tiburon Tops with Merino wool by removing the stitching length wise on the inside seam.

Now I can draw my bow with ease.

Love the fabric and Vias Camo pattern.

I dont have any problems with fit on new gear its thefact the material wont stretch in the arm. I agree almost everything is made in china these days. It is what it is and I dont see as many problems with QC as others. Its usually a case by case basis
