Got to try out my Kuiu rain jacket today in a never ending rainstorm. Hunting in northwest MT, so it's quite brushy. The Kuiu rain jacket performed flawlessly. It paid for itself in this one outing. Hiking through an alder, red stem, regen brush thicket for the first couple hours, and the jacket did its job. I'm using the Chugach NX Rain Jacket and had the Kenai underneath when I started to get a little cold from not hiking straight up a mountain. Kenai breaths great. The rain jacket is the quietest rain jacket I've been around and breathes really well. I'm 6'4" 235 and got the xxl in both. Both are a perfect fit. I had 3 layers under the rain jacket and didn't feel tight or restricting. The pit zips work great and help regulate body heat. Great products and couldn't be happier. I also have their puffy but, it hasn't been cold enough to try it yet.
