Love Kuiu performance clothing for the back country. Durable, light and lots of options. Are there any other favorites out there?

No offense, but this is kind of a red flag question. Anything more specific?

Red flag...please elaborate, lol...I'm not talking about old flannel underwear...lol. How about Sitka, Cabela Brands or traditional wool?

Yeah, whatever clothing items costing less than $60 (absolute max cost per each item). Exceptions to that rule are rain parka and footwear.

Again no offense, but there are frequent scammers on here and most on here know the who's who of hunting clothing. If you are sincere, I apologize. What kuiu pieces are you currently using?

No offense taken, however I don't follow the scammer comment... I own them all, King of the Mountain wool, polar fleece, Cabela Brands, Sitka and more recently Kuiu. I now prefer Kuiu, teh non-camo pant, merino hoodies, early season and late season hoodies. A huge jump in clothing technology. When I was a kid...it was blue jeans and a ball cap. : )

Scammers will get on here, make 10 posts, then try to sell items they don't have, collect payment...you know, thieves.
For me, I like kuiu for outer layers, but I like FL for base, I think they make a better merino.

Thanks for sharing....and yes, I'm doing the 10 post thing lol. However, I'm an avid hunter (64 years young) and my first bow was a Bear Kodiak. I even met Mr. Fred himself...not sure what to make of society any longer, just pray that we remember our shared values and immediately redirect our national trajectory before it's to late! Thanks for watching out for the Bow Hunting Community!

That's pretty awesome you met Fred. Are you still hunting with archery gear?

Met Fred during the old Anderson Archery days in Michigan….yes, I’m still active in archery, love the sense of purpose while creating memories. The Montana solitude is a big plus!

I am new here as well, but I have several kuiu items and really like them all so far. Only used them one hunting season, but my Kuiu attack pants are one of my many favorites. Most comfortable pants I own

Are the OR Ferrosi comparable to the Attack pants?
No. The Ferrosi's are very light weight material. They are great hot weather pants, but would not be durable in any brush, etc. The Attacks are much heavier.

I haven't seen Kuiu Tiburon pants in person, but I think they would be closer to the Ferrosi, but hopefully with more durability.

The OR ferrosi are great pants I have 3 pair. They are light and breathe well with great stretch. I wear they more for hunting and training and I will pack 1 pair for a backup pant sometimes as they are light.

Then Kuiu attack is much thicker and feel more durable. The attack have vents which are great .
The Kuiu attack is more heavy duty. I would take the attack every time if the weather is cool

@Dos XX & @Jac perfect! Thank you for the feedback. I have a pair of super thin Columbia pants and hate them. I don't know, I almost feel like I prefer a pant that isn't super thin, regardless of temp. I have also never worn pants with a side vent zipper. I hope that I can go with a slightly thicker pants, but not burn up because of the ability to open up the sides.
