What planet is Kuiu on, there pants are a 34 inseam for a medium. I contacted them by phone and the rep informed me that 34 is the normal inseam. Maybe if the person is 6'0 tall 160, hat about the average person who is about 5'9 , I thought the average inseam for a medium pant is 32. anyone else have this problem.I would like to buy the chugach but i would be stumbling over the pants, what a shame

I wouldn't worry about the 34". I wear 32's, but have no issues with the 34" Chugach. It is an outer layer.

Yeh don't complain lol.

Companies within the past 18 months have really started making gear for taller people. Backcountry highwaters lack sex appeal.

I don't get the negativity. But it's a lot easier to cut length off than add it to a pair of pants.

The planet would be earth, with a firm foothold on reality.

Oddly enough, Core4 and Kryptek, at least from what I've experienced, do the same silly thing. They make their pants long enough for tall people. That means people that aren't 6'+ can still wear them and can have them hemmed. I don't see it as a problem, I see it as way to avoid a problem.

And as was mentioned, high water pants just aren't sexy...
