I'm considering one of these two for my binos. I've never used a harness like these, I've been using butler creek flip up covers on my bino objectives for the past 10 years with great success, and a comfortable shoulder harness. But, I cant get a good fit on my new binos with butler creek caps so need to try something else.

I'm looking for slim and simple with good protection for the lenses. I don't think I need extra pouches because these binos are RF and will mostly be used for Stone sheep and goat hunts.

The thing that looks bad about the Kuiu is that the shoulder straps connect direct to the binos and not the pouch like other harnesses. It looks like an easy modification but the OPW BinoBro looks to be just as slim and simple with this feature already built in. For those that have used both, would the Kuiu be better in any way after the modification than the BinoBro? Or is the BinoBro a better way to go and avoid having to make any modifications? Thanks.

I have a Binobro pro, but no experience with the Kuiu.

The Binobro is nice and light and low profile, but there's no real structure to it, so it's difficult to re-insert your binos one handed. Someone in the DIY section made a moulded plastic or kydex insert to help hold it's shape that might be worth checking out if you go that route, as that's my biggest issue with it.

As well, it doesn't have tethers for your binoculars, like a few other brands do. The harness connects directly to the pouch unlike the Kuiu, but nothing to your binos in case you drop them or are rushed for a shot and can't get them back in the pouch. I just tied some paracord on as a neck strap which worked fine, but definitely prefer some dedicated tethers.

Other than that I like the lightweight and simple layout, can keep a windchecker handy and a couple of small items without going overboard.

I've since purchased a Marsupial gear harness that I really like. Still low profile, with a few features I like better than the Binobro.

It would have to be the marsupial at this point. I'm going to look into one of those inserts for the Binobro, and maybe some sort of tether setup, but that ends up being quite a bit of messing around to get it how I want it, and would moreso be for fun to see how it turns out at this point. I'm pretty happy with the Marsupial gear as is off the shelf.

:EDIT: Whereabouts in BC are you?

The OPW looks like it is severely lacking for a bino harness. I hated the Kuiu. When the binos were out of the Kuiu pouch the system was just flopping around. The top is not attached to the bottom. If you are not set on those two I would suggest looking the the FHF, Muley Freak, or my favorite AGC.
