Anyone have experience with both? Durability and warmth wise, does either outshine the other?

i only have the Bora. its a nice coat very water res. its cut a little fuller than my other kuiu jackets. pockets are in a great lay out

Is the bora durable? Able to withstand thorns, blackberries and briars?

No fleece liner, more like a goretech rain jacket. I like it. A bit noisey but a nice Jacket! I plan on using it as an outer layer over my puffy when it's cold.

The axis jacket in my opinion is the best insulated soft shell jacket kuiu makes. I have 12 pieces of gear from them and all the other jackets don't do what axis does. Its quiet, moveable, and warm without being a puffy down layer attached to it. It defiantely lighter than the kryptek. I would do kuiu and not look back..

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the responses. It was such a hard decision I just ordered both haha. So far the axis jacket has been money just like my pants. Totally wind proof from what I can tell. I will update when I get the bora and give it a test.

Just to add to this thread, I recently decided to add a soft shell jacket to my collection, and ended up going with the axis. I get cold like a b!tch and am strictly a bow hunter, so the whole puffy/rain shell combo isn’t my first choice (Noise). Wearing it around the house/out scouting I love this thing. Can layer with it, cuts wind, fits fantastic and definitely helps ME stay warm and comfortable. Probably gonna be replacing my fleece layer in a lot of applications, and will likely replace my rain jacket in later season hunts. Quiet enough for my tastes too.
Ill update this post as the season goes on and I have a chance to test it in rain and snow. Curious how your experience turns out. Best of luck

I just got my Bora today. It’s nice. It’s really loud though. Every bit as loud as my Sitka Cloudburst jacket. Honestly it feels like a slightly more flexible rain shell. Fit is similar as well. Can anyone who has it confirm whether or not washing it a few times will quiet it down?
