I wear 33" jeans. I wore 34" before losing weight and, even then, the 34" were a touch loose. I can wear 32" jeans in some cuts cut they can be tight. What should I be trying to order? I read that they're pretty athletic cut.

I'd really prefer solid but that looks like a no-go on availability in either of those sizes.

I wear a 36 in jeans, and the 36 in the attacks fit great. They will have solids in stock in the middle of July.

I'm a 36 in jeans, can squeeze into 34s if need be. Bought the 38s afraid I may gain a bit more weight, but I've done the opposite and they are baggy on me. Actually quite comfortable though once the belt is tightened down. Plenty of room to layer underneath.

I'd recommend a size up from what you normally wear unless you are used to tight pants.

They should be just about right on with whatever you measure using a soft tape. I measure 32.5 with a tape and wear a 32 in KUIU pants. Also, if you don't need the pants right away you could always call in and get on preorder for either the Major Brown or Phantom solids. Customer service will give you an ETA on those colors, which you will probably find fits your time frame.

Keep in mind that extra material and looseness in the waist can be uncomfortable and problematic beneath your pack's hip belt- especially under a heavy load.

It seems to be a non issue w the Bikini frame thus far but definitely something to consider!

Thanks for all the replies! I do have a Bikini frame so it sounds like I'm ok there, too.

I wish I know the emoticon for sarcasm when I say "thanks for all the help". After a call to KUIU, I'm in for four pairs of Attack Pants and a Chugach! I had to hang up the phone or I probably would have bought more!!!

Thanks for the help BSA.
