I got a pair of alpines coming really hope the knee pads workout since my knees are getting bad a hate setting up on bulls on them hopefully the knee pads will eliminate some of that

My Alpines are great but the fit seems to be about 2" larger than my 32"Attack set. Attacks fit me perfectly. Really like the pockets and knee pads though.

I'm somewhat surprised at the great reviews. I decided to get the tiburons for early season, high alpine mule deer hunting because I figured the knee pads would be annoying on long hikes. Don't they swing back and fourth and slide up and down on your legs when moving quickly or climbing?

The knee pads are very thin and flexible. They don't swing or slide around.

I completely forget they're there, until I kneel down and I'm pleasantly reminded that they are.

I really like my alpine pants. So much that I'm thinking of getting another pair for a backup. Not having a DWR coating like the site says is a bummer but you can wash in Nikwax DWR or spray on GearAid DWR to give them some repellency.

They are pretty thin and cool which is why i like them so much but my pair did get a hole while brush busting last turkey hunt after only less than ten outings. Just like others I had reservations about knee pads and have been pleased with them. They do ride a little low while standing and slide into place when kneeling. The pads are hardly noticed while hiking/climbing.

I have a brand new pair of Alpine Pant 34's in Verde that I will sell for $100 + Shipping . Never wore them. I tried them on one time and was going to send them back but never did. I loved the concept and material, was bummed when I tried them on.I love my Attack's. I'm to short and the knee pads set to low for my liking. If the knee pads set higher on me these would be my go to pant for sure.
