Got a call yesterday from Kevin at Kifaru that my pack was ready. I am in the Denver area so I ran over around lunchtime.
Picked up my duplex frame with 26in carbon stays, DT2 bag, long hunter lid, 2 medium pouches, and a grab it. I picked foliage green based on color feedback here on rokslide.
Kevin was great, and had my pack set up for my height. I checked all the stitching, etc and everything was great. I threw on the pack and Kevin immediately adjusted my load lifters to fine tune the angle. He then went through all the attachments, adjustments, etc... Awesome service.
I had questions about pockets and Kevin went back and pulled out several models (long pocket, claymore, etc) for me to think about and showed where they might attach. I will wait on the long pockets but did pick up the grab it along with the lash kit.
Bonus to the pick up was Patrick himself came down the steps to say Hi. He did this when I was ordering as well. Nothing pushy, just wanted to say hi and to thank me for getting a pack.
I told him I had followed Aron since his bowsite days and was finally sold on the packs and was glad Aron was part of his team. Aron, Patrick only had great things to say about you and said something like aron sold himself and we are glad to have him.
Anyhow, props to the kifaru team for awesome service.
Also for those wondering, I'm 5'8" and the 26" stays are perfect.
