Kryptek Jacket Length?

Hey all,

I have asked this question directly to Kryptek, Cabelas and just about anyone else I can and just want a rough answer.

I own the Koldo set in L and find that the fit is perfect except that the length of jacket is short for my long torso. I would definitely prefer to size up if it means a longer jacket... So with that in mind, I am looking at purchasing the Kratos and want it nice and long.

Aron told me that the Kratos is roughly 3 inches longer than the Koldo, which is good news. I like my jackets as long as possible to avoid constant re-adjustment in the field and no chance of it riding up while sitting. Does anyone know if there is a jacket length difference between the L and the XL? If the XL is longer I will take it, if not I will just have to stick to the L size.

I've owned both a large and xl in the kratos. I'm not a tall guy but I didn't notice much difference in length if any at all. If I still had the large i would compare for you.

Thanks for letting me know! I figured they would all be roughly the same length, just wider for bigger guys. Will get the L I think.

The the large fit me great except I couldn't bend at the elbows with just ss shirt under it. So if you have decent size arms or forearms that might be something to consider. The xl is a little more loose in the torso and chest than I'd like but it's close to perfect with layers and I couldn't deal with how tight the large fit in the arms.

I'm no monster, but have fairly thick arms... Hmmm the XL is starting to sound better.

How thick are the layers under your XL? How restrictive is it in the elbows? Is it bad enough to really affect your movement?

I am 5'10" 180# and build very athletic. I wear a large in all my Kryptek gear and it fits great. Just enough room but not loose

I'm 6'3", very broad at the shoulders but otherwise athletically built. I decided to go with the XL mainly because I wouldn't sacrifice movement for a slightly baggier fit. Also got my fingers crossed that it's a little longer.

I am taller than you, and the XL works. Bump it up a size and you will be happy.
