I use Kryptek more for whitetail hunting in the Great Lakes region than I do for out west. Here is my lengthy review on a good amount of there pants and jackets.

I am a fan of my kryptek stuff. However this is the first " technical" clothing line I got. Therefore have nothing to base my opinion off of. My system starts at the older merino top and bottom. Then the old Helios top, Vidar vest, old Kratos jacket, Einar jacket. My bottom is just the merino and dalibor pant. With that set up I've hunted in the teens and been fairly comfortable. My legs did get cool when sitting so I got the new Kratos pants for a layer to throw on when in my setup and throw in my pack when moving. I'm currently trying to decide if I need the Cadog set for Pa deer season and stand hunting or if what I have will work. I think it's going to wait because I have more pressing items to buy like an Exo pack and new bow.

Good review, I like the kryptek gear, but can't say it is on the same level as Sikta, Kuiu, or FL.

Yep, the very first time I wore it, where my Bino harness was, it rubbed up the fabric really bad. So I'm assuming g they improved that on the newer ones?

I wouldn't agree with this after owning all the listed brands, imo it is right there. I'm still trying to wear out my 2011 vahallia pants so I can start using the newer set I bought in 2014. The piling never bothered me as it was more cosmetic then a functional flaw, I've had slight issues with all brands but nothing that was a major flaw.

The older Kryptek stuff did have stitching issues but that was an easy fix.

I bought some Kryptek gear that was heavily discounted at least 60% and that was the last time I'll ever buy Kryptek again. The material they use piled so bad and a pocket on their pant basically came undone and fell off.
