Mahalo for such a great video Aron!!! Being very new to this layering n technical clothing thing. It really helps to see visually the fitting of the products and how you layer it. The kryptek looks amazing!!! Will be investing in some of this!!!

Aloha!!!!

Question about kratos jacket. Would this be a good alternative to a padagonia and a water proof shell? Would want a Cedric under?

Aron - I am 6'2" 225lbs and the biggest thing for me is torso length. When it comes to hunting clothing, the lack of length is a deal breaker for me. Based on your video, the torso looks like it could use another inch at a minimum. How is Kryptek addressing length, if at all, compared to their competition? Nobody makes a tall size and when shit gets pawned off to China/Vietnam/Thailand/Quasimofoland...for production the size gets smaller. Nothing gets in my craw worse, well maybe being made in China/Vietnam/Thailand/Quasimofoland, than a shirt that easily rides up or jacket that easily lets he draft up my back. It becomes more pronounced after a few washings, regardless, if pre-shrunk, pre-washed or pre-ordained by a priest.

Is that you Kevin?

Yep, you'd need at least an inch more from what I'm using in the vid.

I know the Kryptek online store will have longs in just about everything, but I'll check what the exact dimensions are.

I've got a couple kuiu and core4 belly shirts myself, if Kryptek is making longs then sign me up :)

Did they set a release date for the 2013 line yet? I thought the middle of this month? I'm ready to transfer the wishlist over to the shopping cart.

Aron, how does the Kryptek merino stack up against Firstlite merino?

Micron count?
Weight?
Durability?
Construction and fit?
Next to skin feel?

I think you can pre order through the Kryptek store tomorrow, but I'll announce that when I know for sure.

The biggest difference between the FL and Kryptek, is the vented underarm portion on the Kryptek. That allows for better venting and airflow, so I sweat a bit less.

No itching next to skin (feels like 190).

Construction and durability seem to be equal, but I've beaten up FL for a few years and Kryptek for a few months. At this point I would say either will last for a longer than most of the competitors.

Fit is perfect for someone my size (average height), but I can't comment on tall stuff just yet. I'm 73 inches/205 and XL fits great.
