Can someone compare these two jackets? They both use their version of water resistant down. I'm looking for a warm packable jacket.
Thanks in advance for any and all insight.

No experience with the Core4 but I'm pretty happy with my Aquillo. It has a pretty good DWR on the fabric itself. I tested that feature out on a hunt this past fall where I left it strapped to the outside of my pack during a 45 min rainstorm and it repelled water just fine so the down never got wet. It's pretty warm though I would guess there are warmer puffy jackets out there. I use it above 2 layers of merino wool and a run rain poncho for a wind breaker and it will keep me warm when stationary down to maybe 20° or so. If I were moving it would be too hot to hike in those temps while wearing it, at least for me. It packs nicely into it's own pocket and once packed this way actually makes a pretty comfortable pillow. Fit is pretty good, I went with an XL worried about arm and torso length but I think I could have gotten by with a L. I'm 6'1" 190 lbs. with ape arms and a long torso. Hopefully this helps.
