KRG Echo - Sporterish version of bravo for tikkas

Just ordered an Echo, also have a Gen 1 Bravo. Thanks, learning a lot in this thread!
Hmm ... if you have a Bravo, what are you taking away from this thread that would have you buying the Echo (seeing as that's not what many/most of us have done) ...?

Differences between Bravo & Echo, weight considerations, and other options. However I really like Tikkas & the KRG stocks...

I have had my heavy .308 T3 Tac in a Gen 1 Bravo running AICS magazines for years.
Building another 6.5CM T3x CTR in a Gen 2 Bravo with the CTR magazine option.
Finally putting a .243 T3x Superlite in the Echo using the Tikka magazines, more of a sportier build.

This way every time I shoot it will be the same fit and feel, muscle memory. There is also an upgrade path into KRG's higher end chassis if and/or when I want.

Thanks - and good context. For the .243, have you seen the Rokstock? (Seeing that you only just joined, I'm just wanting to make sure you're not leaving that on the table in favor of the Echo, without checking out the pros and cons of each ...)

Yes, thank you. Unfortunately, I am not really a fan of the aesthetics of the Rokstock. However my main functional & practical reasons of sticking with the KRG stocks would be having the similar and familiar fit/feel/ergonomics with the bonus of compatibility of (some/most) parts between them.

Hey jg - I know you've already ordered your Echo, but thought you'd be interested to see this as a datapoint: https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/rokstok-lite.396061/page-34#post-4492318

Also worth having the link to that post in this thread for completeness for others researching Echos.

No.
Hopefully Midway takes it back.

@Stockys , call to the bullpen.

Here's what's happening

FYI midway charges for returns :(
Just an FYI as I had a similar problem initially with my Echo. As mentioned- those 2 screws that hold the block shouldn't be super torqued or it will tighten the magwell and pinch the tikka mag. The other thing I did was lightly sand the mag inlet and specifically the 2 plastic tangs that surround the mag release to open it up a bit. All in took about 10 min- no further issues.

The few comments about recoil impulse vectors not being ideal I also would challenge. For the price and what you get here- this is a bargain, I have a Rokstock as well- sacrilegious I know here, but... they both work well for me.
