I knew the action was the same length but wasn't sure on the mags. Thank you for clarifying.Tikka actions and mags have identical outside dimensions regardless of long vs short chamberings. The actions have differentbolt stops. The short action mags just have a spacer built in.
Ah, love the JB Weld. I have a jon boat that is held together with it LOL!It is jb weld steel stick. I'll have to look, but I have a bunch of stuff that came with it.
Will not work the bravo works with short action cartridges only. When I look at the KRG website, I see the following options for Tikka inlets. I plan to throw my .25-06 in the chassis, and it doesn't take CTR mags, it takes standard LA mags. I know you guys said the outside magazine specs. are the same, but I'm wondering why KRG discrimnates between AICS and CTR then?

Roger that @Lawnboi and what is the actual constraint since the actions are the same length? That's where i"m getting hung up.Will not work the bravo works with short action cartridges only.
the action is the same but the stock is designed for either an aics short action magazine or a ctr mag, both of which max out around 3” of overall length.Roger that @Lawnboi and what is the actual constraint since the actions are the same length? That's where i"m getting hung up.
Thank you again, and that makes sense. The CTR mag has different dimmensions than the OEM .223, 6.5, and LA mags then.the action is the same but the stock is designed for either an aics short action magazine or a ctr mag, both of which max out around 3” of overall length.
An option for you would be the stockys stock or an eh1 with factory bottom metal and mags.
OP sorry for mucking up your sales ad, I don’t know how I ended up here.
Would be a great stock for a 223…..Thank you again, and that makes sense. The CTR mag has different dimmensions than the OEM .223, 6.5, and LA mags then.
I was planning on Rokstok, but a lefty KRG for half price was attractive.
If it doesn't sell then I'm going to throw my 223 in it.Would be a great stock for a 223…..
