Kowa spotting scope

Other than the fact I hate a spotter, it is a fine piece of glass. I have a 774. Thinking of buying a second one and doubling them up!

I owned a Kowa 883 and sold it to get the ATX system (65mm / 95mm).

Both awesome spotters, just prefer the Swarovski for the modularity and admittedly I am a Swarovski fan.

You wouldn't go wrong with the Kowa though, pretty great glass for a little less money.

The Kowa 88 and the Swarovski ATX/STX 85 are very close. I’d give the Kowa a very slight edge optically and the Swaro the advantage in ergonomics and aesthetics. Both of these scopes are easily better than any Zeiss, Leica or Swaro ATS/STS I’ve ever looked through.
