Kowa Genesis eye cup thickness?

Hi,
Any owners here of the Kowa Genesis 10.5 x 44 feel the rubber on the eye cups are too thick to get a full view?? One You
Tube reviewer loves them, but says its a bummer that the eye cup rubber diameter is so thick its hard to get the correct full view.
Any users here agree or experience this issue?

I have them and love them. Not sure what exactly you mean. the eye cup rubber is thick but has zero bearing on eye relief or viewing. In fact when eye cups are all the way down the field of view is huge so I usually put eye cup out just a little to the first notch.

They are thick, and took some getting used to, but after a bit they felt completely natural and didn’t bug me at all, I liked how you could get in the eye cups when needed to mitigate glare

Any thoughts on why there’s so many Kowas for sale on here, especially if theyre so good? There doesn’t seem to be as many SLCs for sale. Is it a weight issue?
