Kowa 774 Hard Case

Does anyone have a recommendation for a hard travel case for a Kowa 774?

I’m thinking Pelican like case. We have a few other scopes that we have in harbor freight Apache cases and have been known to thrown them in the back of the truck or pack them deep when they are in hard cases. Just curious if anybody had found a good one for this specific scope. Thanks!!

my 773 travels well in an Apache 4500.

I think the 4500 is too short for the 774. Or at least it would be close. May have to go to HF and try it out in person…

fwiw the pictured cover is 2+ inches oversized on the eye piece. hoping this pic gives a better perspective. i did take mine to HF hoping it fit their 3500 but no joy. with 6" ruler for reference.

Update for all, the Harbor Frieght Apache 4800 fits the 774. It’s almost edge to edge but it fits. Thanks to all who sent out suggestions. Ended up being the route I went as it was on sale.

Ideally use the pluck foam in a pelican case for custom fit , that might be tricky if it's got a stay on case though. Tried to upload a pic of my Zeiss flight case case made by Rox but that's another option, they look the part if you're flying. They have dark and light versions, absolutely bulletproof construction.
