I was wondering if anyone has gone through this process on one of their bows? I have a Prime Rival, and wanted to also have the limbs done. How did it turn out? Also did you used paint stripper to remove existing paint or did you have the bow sand blasted?

Ultimate finishers is a company I've used. Came out great but you will have to wait probably a couple months. Call and talk to bill and he can tell you for sure. It's easily the toughest finish out there, and as I'm sure you know that's what prime uses on their stock bows. I cannot remember the pricing exactly but 250 will get your entire bow and some accessories done I believe. I didn't have to strip or sandblast anything, they took care of all prep work. There is a place in Colorado I believe that also does it, but you have to do all the prep work for it.

What pattern you going for?

I was thinking of going with ASAT. Such a simple pattern it maybe better to just doing it myself with Duracoat. Who knows how it would turn out through haha

You would have to ask about limbs. Not all limbs can be kolorfused.

With a little redneck ingenuity I Dura Coated my bow.. A bit of a rough learning curve, but got her down now.

Same process except I would only sand the limbs.

I just did a buddies Hoyt and all I did was sand the existing paint actually turned out nicer. Time will tell which holds up better.

Wow that looks Sweet! 👍👍 Did you just sand enough just to ruff up the surface?
