That's a very good point also. Also for thought, the jump in price of new bows reflects more on the economy and not as much as the upgrades on a bow.

May as well go new if you're sticking with archery. No telling what the previous owner did to a bow.

I have seen some new leftovers from up to three years back. Some are flagship models from those years at a significant savings.
