Looks like Knight is going to stop making their Ultra Lite muzzleloader and in doing so have listed them for 20% off. they are selling right at $1k so if you've been on the fence about getting one you better hurry. They don't have everything left though so you'll have to pick through. I snagged a .45cal tan with stainless this morning.

I'm excited to get this gun and see what sorts of things we can poke holes in. Gotta get my Williams sight ordered up for the UL before those go away too. Also time to nail down some bullets to try. A buddy of mine told me to try the Barnes Expander MZ but if anyone has anything else to add to the list I'm open. I want to check out a box of the Cutting Edge ML bullets too.

I grabbed one too, 45 cal. Thinking of trying the Hornady bore driver and the cutting edge bullets. Anybody know if the 50 cal eldx bullet pusher will work with the 45? Or which one to get for the 45

I read some reviews of the 45 eldx muzzy bullet not fitting very tightly and almost can shake the bullet out of the barrel. Not sure if that’s been fixed yet.

I’m probably going to give the dead center bullets a try and maybe the knight red hots for a copper option if needed. For all the bad Cali does, they offer me a $9 hunting license as a nonresident disabled vet and a couple thousand of over the counter tags for units I can be hunting in under and hour.

Knight made a mistake and sent me the wrong version, no sights and scope only, so they are having me send it back to get that corrected. Once I get the correct rifle back, I’m thinking I might start a thread for it. Going over load dev and creating a story of the life of the rifle. Should be fun getting it all dialed in and figuring out what it likes to shoot.
