Knife Blade Repair

If you have a belt sander, yes. 240 grit would be a satin finish, then up in grits till it’s glossy again. Must do both sides equally and you’d loose the black lettering

Some 400 then 600 grit. Wrap it on a small block of wood. Wrap knife handle in a cloth or leather and GENTLY clamp it in a vise by the handle. Run the block of sand paper lengthwise, one direction only (wetted with oil). This is how many custom knife makers get that finish. I used to make custom knives.

^ yep, intimating if never have tho.

Send it back to maker? Or post here for someone like manitou for a fee, bark river does repair reprofiling for a fee too
