Klymit static V Luxe users.....

how does everyone with the klymit static v luxe fit in a tent with another person? Doesn't the pad take up most of the floor space and not leave enough room for the other guy? Being it's 30 inches wide?

I thought I would really like this pad, but I think it is just way too big. It takes away valuable space in my shelter.

I have one and love it but only have the non insulated one that I've used to lay out just on a ground cloth I love how wide it is but now I'm looking at the insulated version for winter when sleeping in a tent but I feel like it takes up over half the tent floor and would have to go under another persons pad and cause a crease in the middle of the other persons back.

If i'm in a tent where I think that's gonna take up too much space and interfere with my partner's pad or sleep....I don't wanna share that tent anyways. I love my luxe.

I have the luxe and it definitely takes up a ton of floor space. If you're running a two man tent, it definitely squishes the other guy. That being said, it's so comfortable and nice for moving through the the night. I absolutely love it for car camping with big tents, but for backpacking I'm looking to pick up something smaller and lighter.
