Kings XKG Tracker Soft Shell

Anyone have any experience with the Kings XKG Tracker Softshell jacket?
Kings says it is a wind and water resistant mid layer, my worry is that it might not breath very well. I'm looking for a midlayer piece that will be good over my merino shirt and under a puffy and or rain gear for August in Alaska. I own tons of XKG stuff and love most if it.

I’ve also been eyeing this and would use it in similar scenarios. Sitka Jetstream LT is exactly what I’m looking for but for the price the tracker looks like a great compromise. Curious if others have experience with this.
