I see threads on specific Kings Camo stuff but not on them as a product line. I have been a KUIU fan for 12 or 13 years and have had really good experience with their stuff. With all that is coming out about KUIU thinking about replacing stuff with Kings Camo which is MUCH cheaper but has great reviews and looks like good stuff.

Anybody kitted out in Kings have an opinion?

I haven't had any First Lite in a while, what about their stuff? I know Sitka is great but obviously I am not a billionaire.

I have KUIU, Kings, and SKRE. Plus a few oddball items from various sources. I was not impressed with Kings, but the stuff I have was purchased probably 15 years ago. I like KUIU... To me, SKRE hits the key areas of fit, comfort, function, and durability. More expensive than Kings, but less than KUIU.

It cracks me up when people that are buying kuiu, sg, and first lite talk about sitka gear being expensive. Everything I have ever bought from sitka has been 25 to 50 percent off and less expensive than those other brands. You just need to shop around and hit the sales.
Kings has a couple lines that are inexpensive and not up to what you are used to. Other lines are pretty good but the costs creep higher.

Agreed. Never been into a sportsman’s warehouse that didn’t have a Sitka clearance rack. Also if your military or first responder you get a healthy discount from Sitka directly

I’ve got some Kuiu, Sitka, Kryptek, and King’s clothing and the King’s XKG line is pretty decent. Kuiu and Sitka are a little better in fit and function, but not several hundred dollars worth better for a whole kit. If you watch their website, King’s regularly has some pretty good deals that make them worth going with. They’ve really stepped up their game the past couple of years. My King’s rain jacket kept me dry for three days straight in some nasty north Idaho rain while I was white tail hunting.

King’s XKG line is what’s comparable, they have two lower priced lines and some of that is ok but watch for the cotton items. Personally I like their Preacher pants. Very similar to the Attack pants but with removable knee pads and snap button pockets which I find easier than zippers while hunting.

Kings xkg stuff I've got is pretty nice. I like that they number their clothes into layering systems. Also seems like they size the outer layers large enough to wear over your other layers and still stay in the same size.
