King's Camo XKG Expedition Hard Face Down Pant reviews?

Anyone have any experience with these pants or the wind defender lines that Kings Camo offers? looking for some input before I pull the trigger on some. Thanks!

I dont have the hard face pants, was afraid they would be really noisy, although I think they look nice. I do have the wind defender bib pants and I really like them. Seem to be good quality but haven’t t had to use them that much.
I have a few items from kings and I really like their stuff.

How quiet are the wind defenders? are they the hunter series or the xkg? pros and cons on these?

They are the XKG and as far as noise they are pretty quiet, no louder than a normal pair of pants.
I think they are comfortable and warm. The only thing I don’t like, which I knew this before buying them, is you really need to wear the suspenders and I hate suspenders.
I don’t think I would pay full price for them, they are on sale a lot.

How is durability? My thoughts were getting some of these to throw in a dry back on my pack when I walk in and toss on for a few hours sit in colder temps with a baselayer and softshell pant on underneath. Think these would do the trick? I do believe some of the color patterns are on sale right now.

I haven’t wore mine a ton but I feel they are durable. I wore mine off and on for a week on an Alberta mule deer hunt and they held up fine. I do what you describe for whitetail hunting if extremely cold.
I see them pop up on campfire frequently.
I really like the looks of their XK7 camo. They are having some sales right now.
