Kimber rebarrel worth it?

Kimber barrels are conical breach face as well as having a extractor cut and a cut for where the front action screw comes through. The 84m personally need the ejection ported opened up slightly as they rip the tips of pointed projectiles. When extracting live loads even at mag length. The 280ais ive played with have all loved 180 eld ms and dont seem to care they are seated very deep. I would buy an 84m. The ejection port can simply be a small notch with a dremel.

Jumping bullets isn't the big deal people make it out to be. My 22 creed seats a 95smk at 2.85 at the lands which means everything but that bullet jumps a LONG way and its a non issue.

As for being worth reloading they are lighter than a nunber of custom actions and save even more weight being they use a smaller shank. Aftermarket stuff is the biggest downside really. If you like a traditional stock the shape is about as well designed as they come.

I agree with Stocky. For a lightweight take on traditional rifle design, Kimber is the best I’ve used. The stock, trigger, and action are great, with the factory barrel being the weakest link. Totally worth rebarreling.
