Bought this rifle with the intention of rebarreling to 6.5 PRC, but at the end of the day I’m a tight wad.

With that being said, I’d like to trade for another stainless (will not consider blued or wood stocks) Kimber in 270 Win, 270 WSM, 7 WSM, 25-06, or 280AI. I’d like another Montana but might be willing to put money on top for the right Mountain Ascent or Subalpine. Just looking for something factory friendly that doesn’t require a rebarrel.

I got it off a used rack and it’s in great shape. All I really know about the rifle is that it visited the Kimber factory in 2018 where they confirmed it meets their sub MOA accuracy guarantee. I know this because I called Kimber yesterday. It appears to have been shot and hunter very little. I’ve not shot the rifle. I’m in western Montana and in a perfect world, you would be too. But that’s asking a lot.

I’d also consider 6mm Creedmoor or 6.5 PRC rifles, or Tikka barrels in either of those chamberings (as partial trades).

Let me know what you’ve got!

Why not just hunt with this rifle as is in 300 WSM? That'll do anything that the other chamberings that you mentioned will do and then some.
