Up for sale is a 2011 kimber montana, I bought this used, tried to do load development with 150gr partitions, accubonds, and TSXs and couldn’t get it to shoot them under 2". Tried some factory 130gr federal fusions I got in a trade and it shot two, 3 shot, 1” groups at 100 and has sat in the closet since. I have not worked up any other loads with lighter bullets but I imagine it will be just fine. I did do most of the 24hr campfire forum fixes after initial load development but did not repeat 150 gr tests. Great trigger, great rifle, just like my custom more and want a short 308 instead. 7pounds on the nose with a full mag and my fxiii on it. 1200 tyd w/ talley lightweight 1” bases.

That would be a 84L. 8400 are for the magnums.
Early on they chambered the standard cartridges in the 8400 action. Only reason I know this is I bought a 25-06 Montana, ordered rings for an 84L and when the gun showed upnit was an 8400! Mine was made in 2007. Im Not sure when they made the change to the 84L

I have a 2011 84M. And looked at a 8400 in a WSM of the same year was why I said that
