Up for sale is an 8400 Montana chambered in .25-06 Remington. I bought this rifle a couple months ago, after giving up on finding an 84L before hunting season...and of course I found an 84L right after getting this one dialed in, so it's gotta go!

I bought the rifle advertised as "new in box/old stock" from an old gun shop online, found nothing on the rifle that would indicate otherwise, so round count is currently 30-ish.

Rifle likes 120 grain Fusions, putting 5 shots inside 1" at 100. Busts clays at 300 yards with ease. Does not like 110 ELDX. Haven't shot anything else, but had high hopes for 117 SSTs which were next in line.

Krylon Fusion sponge job looks top tier, trigger is bump safe and adjusted to about 1.5 pounds, crown is perfect. Action and safety are as smooth as they come on a Kimber (I've got 5 to compare, and there are definitely levels)

Relatively rare configuration with a .25-06 Montana of any variety, and the extra weight of the 8400 version makes brakes/cans unnecessary as recoil is mild.

Tally UL lows included.

$1250 shipped private to your FFL. Open to trades on bird guns, bolt guns, and rifle scopes that don't suck.
