Which item number and did you have to modify it?
Thanks for some insight, have a break on my 300wsm but could use some more help for my girlsI had to do some minimal sanding on the pads base( cosmetic reasons)
I believe it was p/n 10808, take yours off and match it to the Limbsaver printout.
I did pour some Devcon into the stock to allow new threads. Let me try to verify that p/n and see if I have any pics.
Did you come across the part number?, I don't have a way to print out a template.I had to do some minimal sanding on the pads base( cosmetic reasons)

Thanks man, working 6 -7 days a week so don't think can get a print out done.I'm 75% it was 10808. Its the only oddball pad I had on my order history last year based off my timeliness... All the other ones I can account for which rifle they went on...
You'll have a ~ +/- 16" lip on the bottom baseplate that will need sanded down. The stock is foam filled also, cut out a void to allow Devcon to be poured in for new threads.
Can't you use a printer at kinkos or the library?

How did you get original pad off? Doesn't look like mine is screwed on, mine is a subalpine, mountain ascent.
Right on will tackle it when I have the new one in handHave to cut the pad off. It's glued to a base and you'll be reusing the base. Work a razor carefully around where the pad touches the base.. fwiw, some guys say to freeze the stock and knock the pad off with a chisel ....
