Selling my 280AI with a 16” barrel, barrel is 5/8-24 threaded. The gel has been removed from the stock and the previous owner put a limb saver pad on it that isn’t the prettiest but i didn’t get the factory one. Rifle is 6lb12oz loaded with the HST scope as pictured. I believe the scope is 22oz. Work was done prior to me owning it, I’ve only put a couple dozen rounds through it. I assume all the brass has been shot though this rifle but I don’t have a total round count.

Also comes with Redding dies, 70 120gr NBT’s and a bunch of ammo and brass, I’ll also throw in a pic rail that fits.

Included;

Rifle
Redding die set
Pic Rail
119 SON Brass, 17 loaded with 160AB (Peterson blem brass)
44 Nosler Brass, 19 loaded with 140AB
52 Hornady Brass
35 Win Brass 15 loaded with 120NBT

I was shooting the 120’s, out of it and its grouping well out to 500 with them.

Asking $1200obo shipped for everything listed above or we could meet up, I’m in Eastern Oregon but go to ID often.

Looking to go to a smaller caliber and I already have a 280AI we use. Looking for something, 6CM, 6.5CM, .243 or similar. Not looking for any savage or rugars or any other cheap rifles. I’m looking to purchase a CA scout, SA 700 or build a small caliber tikka with the money.

would love to see some velocities posted

I haven't shot it through the chrono. I'd imagine it's pushing the 120's pretty quick. It grouped surprisingly well for me for what it is. If i get some time I will setup and get some speeds, if a person wanted to put a brake on the barrel and use 168's it would be wicked I'm sure. I shoot 168's from my other 280AI with great success but IMO they are a little much for such a lightweight rifle without a brake and I already have hearing loss in one ear so I avoid using brakes.

What brand is the brass? Is it AI fire formed?
Most is Ackley some is fire formed 280, all fired in this rifle.

119 SON Brass, 17 loaded with 160AB (Peterson blem brass 280AI)

44 Nosler Brass, 19 loaded with 140AB(280AI)

52 Hornady Brass 280AI brass some new some once fired.

35 Win Brass 15 loaded with 120NBT(280rem FF)

I also have about 50 pieces of Norma 280 brass fire formed in my other 280AI.

If someone wants the rifle separate from the brass and dies I’m happy to sell the brass and ammo once the rifle sells. I already have another 280AI with comp dies so I don’t have a need for all of it.
