Up for sale is a Kimber 84L Montana chambered in 30-06. Rifle is in excellent condition and has not been hunted. Comes with Leupold rail. New Kimber Montanas are over $1800 on Gunbroker now.

Let’s go $1375 shipped to the CONUS on this one. I will sell to AK and HI but may need a little more $ to cover shipping costs.

Damn I wish I had the money. This is exactly what I want. Truck going into shop in the morning to most likely get a new transmission….when it rains it pours.

I never shot for groups. I threw a scope on it one time and let a friend shoot a few rounds into the farm pond to feel how well a Montana stock absorbs recoil. Only time I ever remember firing it.

Very nice rifle. This must be a 1st gen Montana since it has no brake or threaded barrel? Have you had any of the issues come to early model montanas that you read about on web? Would you happen to know the year of manufacture? Thanks

Correct this one is original non-threaded barrel. The rifle balances fantastic. This one doesn’t suffer from a binding mag box or too long of front ring screw if those are the woes you mention. There is a good thread out there on Kimber preflight checklist. No issues on this one. I am unsure of exact year of manufacture.

Yesh mainly concerned with the accuracy and quality control issues… do have an idea on the accuracy? They seem to be 50/50 in the accuracy department. Either you get a good one or not.
