Yes. There is enough length adjustment in the frame. If you are hauling big loads and compactness isn't a concern then a longer frame is going to place the load higher and give you more lift. If you want something smaller the. A 22 inch frame works fine.

I finally got around to taking some pictures of the Woodsman on my 26" frame. This first group of pictures is just the pack on the frame. I focused in on the lower lumbar region where the "gap" between the bag and frame is.

Sleeping pad attached to empty space in the lumbar region:

You are welcome. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll try to answer them the best I can. Yeah the guide lid is surprisingly big. It's 1,200 cubic inches and can fit a full size dslr camera in it.

This thread is seriously making me want to get a Woodsman. I mostly day hunt so it would obviously be perfect for that, but it also seems like there's a lot of versatility to take this pack clear out to a 7 day hunt.

Anyone have experience with the markhor as well as the woodsman? There pretty similar in size and I'm not sure which one to choose

That's exactly how I'm planning on using mine. I've had it on a couple shakedown hikes here locally. So far, so good. I think it'll be a bit more practical than my AMR for my use habits - not quite as big and even better access into the main compartment.
