Kifaru wolf grey

It's fairly common. Not limited to WG, or to Kifaru for that matter. The funny thing is, at least to me, sometimes it gets my OCD all outta whack...and sometimes it doesn't.

This just in, sorta color blind guy says the wolf grey pack is a sorta dark greyish-almost a hint of blue-ish, with buckles and straps that might be more foliage-ish than grey, depending on the light..
I like it, I,m like a stealthy little ninja once I put the pack on, makes the Smurf blue rain jacket I sometimes wear almost invisible to man and critter alike from a mile away!

I just got an AMR, Guide Lid, Grab-It, Bottle Pocket, Mini Belt Pouch, and Medium Pocket all in Wolf Gray yesterday. I only noticed the darker gray on the Guide Lid as others have previously mentioned. Doesn't bother me though.

Same here, have a lot of wolf grey stuff that I've bought over the last 4-5 months and everything is the same except the guide lid. Not a big deal at all, some variation is always going to happen with any color.

Hello from Germany,

I would like to order at Kifaru but I hesitate to choose between Coyote Brown and Wolf Grey. I prefer to not look military. But I photograph animals and landscapes and because of that it should blend well in europe/german environment (like mountains, grasslands, woods etc.). I will use the pack also in urban environment.

My question: Are there other manufacturers who offer identical or very similar colors? Manufacturers that I can buy in Germany to get an idea about the colours and to see them in real life.

For example: Maxpedition, Tasmanian Tiger, Arc'teryx, 5.11

Coyote is a very popular color. Wolf gray I don't know. If you buy the color foliage, it is similar...

Thought I'd add in my two cents. I just received my wolf grey duplex, cargo panel, guide lid, and belt pouches. Awesome set up! Except the colors... Everything except the shoulder straps was a blue/gray. The shoulder straps were a "true" gray. If the whole thing had been like the shoulder straps I would have kept it, but as it is I sent it all back for coyote. Just wasn't a fan of the bluish tone to most of the stuff. Not sure if you can request a uniform color set up.

Realize this is an old, and likely dead, thread. But does anyone have a shot of some kifaru wolf gray with something ACU to get a side by side of the two?

Wolf isn't as greenish as the foliage/acu stuff, but it is still a cool (talking about its color temperature, not its good looks) grey. If you're worried about color consistency get multicam. Better yet, stop worrying about silly shit altogether. I don't say that disrespectfully. There are some things that really just don't matter, though. Matching nylon is one of those.

My pack has a highlander frame and one pocket, coyote brown pack and lid and black organizer pocket haha
