Kifaru visit

I finally got to stop by the Kifaru store today around lunch. The guy at the desk said that we missed Aaron by a couple of hours, so I missed out on meeting him. The guy at the desk was very nice and answered all of my elementary backpack questions.
Overall I enjoyed my visit and will be heading back home to alot warmer weather in the morning, unfortunately.

Did you buy anything/did they have any inventory in the store? I’ll be driving through next week and wanted to know if it’s worth a stop. I have a pack, frame, bag from them.

I stopped by a couple years back. It was during the season and they were pretty busy. They were very helpful. Frank came came out and made sure my pack was dialed in. Great people and great packs.

You can buy most accessories on the spot. They have all the bags and packs hanging on the walls and a sawtooth set up in the show room. If you want to have them check the fit of your pack you could stop in. If you have everything already, probably not worth the stop IMO. If you’re looking at new gear then absolutely.

I bought a belt and a shirt. I already have a 24” frame and AMR bag. I did get them to check to see if I had it adjusted correctly.
They have all their bags on the wall. Don’t know if you can buy one onsite or not. They did have the new insulated pants available to try on.

It’s not an all day browsing type store, but I knew that going in. It was worth a stop for me, fwiw.

I'd love to stop in the next time I'm in Colorado. But, I'm driving like there is no tomorrow on the way out and, like a used up rag on the way back. So, I never will. However, It'd be cool as heck to meet those guys.

I’ve been in there many times. Bought many accessories for my packs along with an annex for my Supertarp. All the accessories I was able to buy there, without preordering. The annex I waited and then picked it up to save shipping costs. Great group of people to deal with from my experiences.
