100% yes for me. This frame makes the hunting Duplex obsolete in my opinion. To me the Lite is everything I need and the UL is 90% what I need. I will use the UL for backpacking trips and times I don’t need to synch down the load incredibly tight. The Lite could be used for everything of course at a very slight weight penalty.

i chose the Duplex Light for my Hoodlum. minimal weight penalty for a thicker frame. and it has a couple more attachment points, giving it the versatility i need should i swap bags

my apples to apples comparison of my Hoodlum vs DT1 and Tactical Frame so far, the nod goes to the Duplex Light with around 50 pounds in the packs. its no where near as stiff as the Tactical frame, and its a whole lot cooler on the back!

Make me want an Ultra Lite over a Lite,,, unless there is something I’m missing ?
