Has anybody used these for binos? Is there a convenient way to carry binos in these?

I am looking for an all around chest rig that can carry binos and a handgun. I have a bino harness and a razco, just looking for something a little more universal for hunting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding etc.

I haven't used the Steelhead.
Marsupial makes bino packs of different sizes and has a handgun holster that you can install underneath using a molle connection. I use that setup sometimes, and would say that it is a convenient way to carry binos and a handgun.

I carry a pair of 8x42 mavens in mine while scouting/checking trail cam. I used the steelhead to conceal and have that peice of mind

Do you carry them in the front zipper pocket or the back where the handgun goes?

The front, Its tight but not undoable. i carry extra batteries for trail cams, card reader and other stuff there too.
