I had the same debate before buying my slick bag. I’m 5’ 11’ 220#s with relatively wide shoulders. I also sleep on my side pretty often and have found the regular to be plenty of space. I’ve seen the wide version and it’s VERY wide. Which is great if you need the extra room but it seemed like an awful lot to try and compress into a stuff sack. Food for thought. Good deal on a great bag though!
