Have a 0 wide, long. Love it- true to temp, roomy, packs down with compression sack. I cant handle a smaller mummy bag (clausterphobic) have a 20 degree ee quilt i use for summer and warm temp camping but the kifaru goes with me anytime weather could be a factor.

I have the 20 degree slick, older side zip version, very happy with it. For colder temps I take my 20 degree slick and slip my woobie inside the slick and that works for cold weather.

I have the -20 center zip and love it. It is too hot to use until the low 20's, but for summer and early fall I use a doobie quilt. I bought the regular length and width and am amazed at the roominess. I think that if I went wide, there would be too much room. I am not thin by any means, but I can roll around with ease.

I have a 20 deg newer model and like it just wish I would of went with the wide but I used it in freezing temps not sure exact temp but was sweating when I woke up nice thing about the new ones with the center zip is if you get hot you can unzip the center a bit to let some cool air in

I picked up a Mountain Hardware HyperLamina Torch (0 degree) for this season. Its a center zip, 3lb. 8oz, synthetic that packs down small and I feel is a great less expensive alternative to the slick bag. The Torch kept me plenty warm down into the low teens and dried extremely fast in cold temps when it got damp/frozen from tent wall condensation. My only complaint is that I wish the center zip was a bit longer.

For reference I'm 6ft, 195 lbs. and the regular bag length/width was perfect for me.

I bought a Reg 0 Slick bag this year..
Used it for about 25 nights. Found it great for CO elk hunt but then I did a North BC Moose hunt(early Oct) and I was cold. Nearly every night I was cold and I doubt it was 0F(ended up wearing my down jacket but was still cold). But I am a pretty cold sleeper and was under weight and very hungry at the time(end of season) so this may have been a big factor.
I have since spent another couple of nights in it and found it very warm.
The Reg size is very roomy for me(5'11" and 160ish), center zip is a bit weird at first but ya get used to it.
It compress well in one of their bags but this is my first synthetic bag and compared to down it is still very bulky.

I think synthetic has its place but if you are doing alot of back packing a down bag is lighter/smaller for the same warmth. Only reason I have changed to synthetic is I hunt alot of wet areas and often I am in a damp/wet sleeping bag.

I had picked up nearly new center zip -20* Slick bag L/W for a short while. I'm about 6' 205 and it fit with plenty of room in it for me, but way too warm as I'm a hot sleeper. It was really nice, but I toss and turn and spin all night so it just didn't work for me. I would like to see the zipper go all the way down to your ankles and I would then buy another the day it came out. But until that day arrives, I moved to an EE 0* quilt that works better for me now. The EE Quilt is very nice, warm, and light for packing in. I've not used it a ton yet, but the couple times I have I was able to regulate my temp better than with the Slick bag and do circles in it and still be comfortable.

I have an older side zip 20 deg long regular width. I'm 6'1" 195 and it's honestly a tad long. Plenty of room in the width though. With a good pad it's great even in the teens. Compresses well. If it's much colder I either use a sea to summit liner or a woobie. I have a north face down bag that's nice as well. It's a zero degree bag that works good as well. Wiggys bags are great as well. I don't have one but my hunting buddy does. And loves it. Lots of great options available to us. If I could only have one bag I'd have a zero deg. Kifaru though.

I had an older 20* side zip, problem was (problem with nearly any synthetic bag) is that over time it lost about half of its loft. Cut/design was pretty decent but it didn't pack as small as some synthetic bags and wasn't terribly warm anymore. I think the amount of climashield in it put it around what other companies call a 30* (when it was new) and with the loft degradation it was closer to a 40.*

If I was shopping for a new synthetic bag a 0* slick would still be on my shortlist, I think the center zip is an improvement.

I have a 0 degree long and wide. New center zip. Used it this year down to 15 degrees on my elk hunt. I slept in my merino wool base layer and was comfortable. I'm 5'11 and 195. Wasn't hot and wasn't cold. So I think it's awesome. Packs down really well in a stuff sack also. Very light. Very well built.
